How partner links work
Where the money comes from, and what changes when you click.
Partner links
Some links on this site are partner links, minted through the Optimise network. When you book through one, the partner pays this site a commission. You pay the partner's price, and nothing is added on top.
Marked, always
Partner links carry the sponsored relationship in the link itself, and the page says so next to the link. The hand-off panel is labelled before you continue, and it opens the partner in a new tab.
What this site is not
Lotus Route is not the seller. The booking contract, the payment and the support all run through the partner, whose terms are shown at checkout.
No paid placements
No hotel, operator or partner can pay for an editorial mention on this site. The notes are chosen by the editors, and commissions follow only actual bookings.
